Global STR Associations Network '26 meeting + lunch is open to all global short term rental association heads, boards members, DMO’s, public affairs, and industry public affairs managers.

After the successful 2024 launch this event is leading the positive changes between government and the Global STR industry narrative. Global STR Association heads meet at this event each year to help support and guide sustainable growth for the STR industry globally. 

The event will start with a focused round table debate session; table hosts will lead the focus for discussion and learning. Followed by a networking 2 course lunch.

This networking lunch will be hosted each year by an association with their chosen educational theme, with a relaxed approach to thought leadership and educational sessions over lunch.

10:30am – Industry intelligence: Data-driven decision making. Practical insights on leveraging visitor data, booking patterns, and digital intelligence to inform business strategy. How shared data strengthens individual operators and the sector collectively.

11:00am – 12:00 noon

Roundtable 1 – Building our collective voice: the social value imperative. Demonstrating sector impact to government, investors, and communities.

To explore:

  • How we articulate the sector’s economic, social and community contributions with evidence, consistency and a united voice.
  • How best to coordinate advocacy efforts and create alignment across diverse sub-sectors to influence policy and secure sector-friendly regulation.
  • The scope to build collaborative frameworks for data collection and impact measurement.

Roundtable 2 – Making room for everyone – thriving through industry evolution. Securing your place in a rapidly changing tourism landscape.

To explore:

  • A collective approach to navigating structural shifts such as housing pressures, diversification, hotels pivoting to government contracts, high street decline, evolving visitor behaviours and expectations.
  • Cross-sector collaboration opportunities, shared learning networks and knowledge exchange.
  • How we create space for innovation as well as preserving traditional models.
